The person behind Earned Strength

I've been training for about 4 years. I started during a difficult time in my life, and the gym ended up being what helped me get through it — to feel better, build discipline, and find a reason to take care of myself. Earned Strength was born from that experience.

I'm not a doctor or a nutritionist, and I make that clear in every article. What I am passionate about is research: when something interests me or raises a question, I don't settle for the first answer — I look for multiple sources and make sure what I'm about to write is actually backed up before I publish it. That's why every article on this site cites its sources at the end.

Why I write this

Because having this information clearly laid out would have helped me when I started. The fitness world is full of myths, shortcuts, and people selling nonsense, and I want Earned Strength to be the opposite: a place where you can check something and know it's well researched, even when it's not the most exciting answer.

How I research each article

Before writing, I review recognized clinical and scientific sources — health organizations, studies, sports nutrition guidelines — and cross-check several against each other instead of relying on just one. If something doesn't have solid evidence behind it, I say so explicitly instead of presenting it as fact.
